Why Choose Kaufman Law Group?
Why have generations of families and businesses trusted Jay Kaufman and Kaufman Law Group for the last three decades?
We think it’s the way we develop a one-on-one relationship with clients.
First, we seek to collaborate with the clients and their professional advisors – accountants, investment advisors, financial planners or insurance brokers – to ensure that their planning is completely coordinated. It’s a “one hand knows what the other is doing” approach. Time after time, this has proved to be the difference between a plan that works and a plan that doesn’t.
Second, new clients are engaged in a series of meetings where we learn and make sure we fully understand their needs and objectives. Clients come back to our offices once every year or two to review their plans and update us on any changes in their lives. Through this process, we become familiar with each client’s family and objectives, so we can serve them better.
The results of our relationship approach shows in the family businesses we have represented over multiple generations and in the families we have worked with for decades.
Kaufman Law Group has been a family practice since it was established by Jay Kaufman in 1980. Karen Kaufman has managed the firm’s business affairs since 1986. Kim Kaskel has worked in various positions with the firm since 1997. Suzanne Othman has been associated with the firm since 2003. Our newest associate, Alysse Hunter, joined the firm in 2010.
Simply put: Our family serves your family.
